Holiday Celebrations in Magnolia, Texas

Some families like to go "all out" for the Christmas holidays. The Gullo family does an incredible Christmas light display at their house. They have a night when you can go in to see Santa and walk up close to all of their really cool lights.

Here are some pictures of the Gullo house at Christmas time.

Magnolia has a Christmas Parade and a Hometown Christmas Celebration. Our school choir sings at the Magnolia Depot. You can go in the museum and the caboose. You can go ice skating even when it is not very cold outside. You can go and see Santa. They have trolly rides to the Unity Park. They have machines that make snow bubbles that fly around in the air. There are real life blacksmiths that show you how to make stuff with metal. People come and sell a lot of stuff like food and necklaces and you can go on the big slide and jumping house.

If you like Halloween you will want to go to the Haunted Depot. There will be a pumpkin decorating contest and costume contest too. A big scary pumpkin was the best. I went it the haunted house and it was scary. The skeleton was the scariest part. When I went into the haunted house some ghosts popped out. They scared me. There was smoke in the haunted house too. The best costume was a ninja one.
